Orders

At checkout, you will see whether your delivery will normally be made by Goldstein Salmon’s own temperature-controlled vans (if the shipping method is “Local Delivery”) or by a nominated courier (if the shipping method is “Nominated Day Delivery”). Courier deliveries are carried out on a next-day service and use environmentally sustainable Woolcool food packaging to help keep our salmon chilled in transit.

We normally deliver local orders in our own temperature-controlled vans. When our van rounds are exceptionally busy, we reserve the right to send your order with DPD instead. If we change the carrier, we will let you know and send you the DPD tracking details.

While we aim to deliver courier orders on the next business day, circumstances beyond our control may cause delays. The packaging is designed to maintain product quality for up to 2 days in transit from the time the parcel leaves our premises. If your parcel is more than 24 hours late, please dispose of the product and contact us for a refund.

Order Cut-Off Times for Next-Day Deliveries

To ensure the freshest product possible, please place your orders before:

  • Monday 6:00 am – for delivery on Tuesday
  • Tuesday 6:00 am – for delivery on Wednesday
  • Wednesday 6:00 am – for delivery on Thursday
  • Thursday 6:00 am – for delivery on Friday

Orders for a Preferred Date:

You can select an available delivery date of your choice, up to 3 months in advance.

Subscriptions – How It Works

Subscription orders are delivered based on the day they are charged. Please refer to the schedule below:

  • Charged on Monday → Delivered on Tuesday
  • Charged on Tuesday → Delivered on Wednesday
  • Charged on Wednesday → Delivered on Thursday
  • Charged on Thursday → Delivered on Friday
  • ⚠️Charged on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday → Delivered on Tuesday

Delivery Times

Deliveries made by our own drivers will take place between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm.

For deliveries made by nominated couriers, you will be contacted directly by the courier with further information regarding delivery times.

Not Going to Be In?

Please use the separate Delivery instructions and Gift message fields in your basket. Delivery instructions are limited to 50 characters and are passed with the order to our delivery team or courier. A specific safe-place selection fills the delivery-instructions field, which you can edit before checkout. Gift messages are for the recipient, not the delivery driver. Collection orders do not require a safe place or delivery instructions.

For Nominated Day Delivery, follow the instructions provided by the courier via the tracking link.

Please note: Goldstein cannot accept responsibility for deterioration caused when nobody is available to receive and refrigerate the order promptly. This does not affect your statutory consumer rights or our responsibility before successful delivery. Additionally, delays may occur with all delivery services.

Your first standing-order delivery

Your first order is paid for at checkout and uses the delivery or collection date you chose there. Your next scheduled payment is for the next repeat order, not a second payment for your first order.

The payment-to-delivery timetable above is a normal UK shipping estimate. Public holidays and delivery closures may change these dates. For collection, follow your collection confirmation instead.
